England Kick Off Rugby World Cup With Win Against Brave Fiji

As the BBC reports, last night’s Rugby World Cup opener at Twickenhm played host to a good England victory but a slightly unconvincing one compared to some of the bigger tests that lie ahead. While you can forgive opening night nerves it could have been a game that was a lot closer against a strong and powerful Fijian side who faded in the last 20 minutes due to lack of fitness. England have much ambition and potential but as we have seen time and time again, great sports teams combine that potential with belief, togetherness and discipline to produce amazing results. Andy Murray to Donate £50 for Each Ace to Refugees

Britain’s Andy Murray has been so moved by the plight of refugees coming to Europe, that he has pledged to donate £50 for each ace he serves for the rest of the season as the BBC reports.
“Having seen the images broadcast on the news I felt I had to do something to help,” he said.
Murray’s sponsor Standard Life, along with the Lawn Tennis Association and ATP, will each match his donation.
Satya Nadella Uses iPhone On Stage at Presentation

In a seemingly small but significant move towards a more open Microsoft, during his keynote at Dreamforce this week (Salesforce.com’s developer conference), Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella used an iPhone to demonstrate the new Outlook app rather than using a Windows phone. The very fact he was appearing at Dreamforce and using an iPhone is rare as two of Microsoft’s traditional rivals have been Apple and Salesforce. Nadella appears to be moving far more towards collaboration than his predecessor as we have covered previously here. Read the full article over at Business Insider.
