50 years ago this year Martin Luther King led a historic march in defiance of oppression and discrimination. His leadership helped pave the way for many changes and reforms for civil rights in the US and yet today the struggle for greater levels of peace, compassion, care and equality in the world continue. This is a powerful and inspiring song written for the film ‘Selma’ which dramatises that march. Performed live at the 2015 Oscars, it captures the courage, resilience and hope of people everywhere who are working for a better world.
