Legends Pay Tribute to Sir Terry Wogan
By Jairaj Singh, Associate Partner, Lighthouse International
After a short but courageous battle with cancer, the much-loved veteran BBC Broadcaster Sir Terry Wogan passed away yesterday. For the last 30 years he was a warm and familiar face on British Television, not only for his hilarious presenting of the Eurovision Song Contest but also for helping to raise millions of pounds for the BBC’s Children in Need since it began in 1980. Legends around the world have paid tribute to the great man who will be sorely missed…
Wogan had a twinkle in his eye. If you have that, it’s the last thing you lose. RIP
